Collaborating With Others
Solving problems and working together
Collaborating with others is a great way to develop new products or ideas and attract visitors during quieter times. Your Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) or EDA (Economic Development Agency) is a good place to start to identify businesses you may be able to work with.
Getting involved with groups in the same sector or region (or even with the same mindset) as you is useful for solving joint problems, making connections, gaining knowledge and progressing ideas and collaborative activities.
Green Drinks, regular meet-ups for people interested in sustainability, have events in many locations around New Zealand (and the world). It's a good way to connect with like-minded people. If you’re having trouble finding Green Drinks groups in your region, why not start one up?
